West German working lines (65#mom) crossed with the best tempered American/east German male (125# lean dad). Parents are 4.5 and 5 years old and very fit and sound. They excel at tracking game, patrolling the home and property, catching rabbits, and playing couch potato. (This sounds funny maybe, but a high drive dog that is on all the time is not what most people want). Vigorous, big pups, all playful and loving, some with higher drive than others.
