This is a "G" prefix Remington 700 ADL SPS Varmint in .223 -- one of the better quality and more desirable pre-Freedom Group rifles. The barrel is a 1:12" twist and has been cut /crowned/threaded 1/2"-28 @ 16.25" long. The trigger was replaced with a factory post-recall trigger and the stock has been painted. It has a 1-pc 0 MOA picatinny base installed and I threw on an A2 flash hider, basically as a thread protector. Also includes a set of 30mm rings which will work with scope objectives up to 44mm, possibly 50mm for some. The rifle loves Hornady 50gr VMAXs and I've included a picture of a typical 5-shot 100 yd group w/ them.
