Niagara: This is the same grape used by Welch's for white grape juice. It has slip-skin berries that are large, sweet and juicy with a strong foxy flavor. This grape produces my most popular sweet white wine.
Expect Harvest date 9/3/17
$1.00 per lb.

Steuben: Steuben produces large bluish-black slip-skin grapes. Grapes are delicious, sweet and tender with a spicy tang. Makes an excellent red wine. I prefer it as a sweet and usually blend some Concord with it. Others prefer it as a dry.
Expected Harvest date around 8/28/17
$1.00 per lb. (Quantity discounts available)

Catawba: A spicy flavored, red slip-skin grape. The flavor is slightly foxy. Catawba is a very good table grape, excellent for jams and jellies, and often used for wine and sweet sparkling wine. Catawba has been grown in the eastern United States for over 150 years and was the major variety used for winemaking in Ohio prior to prohibition. I usually blend Catawba and Concord and Steuben for a great sweet red!
Expect Harvest date 9/3/17
$1.00 per lb. (Quantity discounts available)

Concord: The most famous American grape. Concord grapes are tough skinned, flavorful and highly aromatic - an all-purpose grape used to make grape jelly, juice, grape flavored soft drinks, and candy. Concord is used for kosher wines or as a varietal or blender for sweet wines. If you have never tried a sweet Concord wine, you do not know what you are missing!
Expect Harvest date 9/3/17
$1.00 per lb.

Chardonel: A cross between Seyval and Chardonnay, Chardonel produces an excellent white wine. Chardonel is a very dry, full-bodied superior white wine with hints of melon and citrus. Like Chardonnay but much hardier, wines can be fermented and aged in stainless steel to produce fruit forward wines, or they can be barrel fermented. Good paired with heavier seafood dishes, pasta, red sauces and Gouda cheese. I absolutely LOVE this wine!
Expected Harvest date around 8/20/17
$1.00 per lb.

Cynthiana (also known as Norton): Cynthiana is often referred to as "the Cabernet of the Ozarks". It produces a rich, medium to full-bodied red wine with a dry character similar in style to Cabernet Sauvignon, but with more spice. Without a doubt, this is my favorite American red grape for dry wine making! It can also make a wonderful sweet red wine.
Expected Harvest date around 9/11/17
$1.00 per lb. (Quantity discounts available)

Noiret:Noiret is the result of a cross between the earlier hybrids and Steuben; the predominant ancestors for these hybrids are Vitis labrusca varieties native to the northeastern region of North America and Vitis vinifera varieties, which are the classic European wine grapes. The distinctive red wine is richly colored and has notes of green and black pepper, with raspberry and mint aromas, and a fine tannin structure.
Expect Harvest date 9/3/17
$1.00 per lb.

As a rule of thumb figure 13lbs per gallon for reds and 16lbs per gallon for whites. If you ferment your whites on the skins for a few days, like I do, then you can get more yield from those as well.

Many of these make great jelly, jam and preserves as well!

These are on a First-Come First-Served basis! Please call to reserve yours today! Last year they all sold out quickly.

We are just a short drive from Bristol, Greenville, Erwin, Elizabethton, Piney Flats, Knoxville, Gate City VA, & Abington VA.
